Teaching

The teaching is vibrant, aiming to assist personal growth as well as equipping the students for ministry within missions, churches and Christian organisations.

The subjects in the EM-year are the following*:

  • Introduction to the Bible
  • Introduction to Doctrine
  • Christian Life
  • Missions, Mission History, and Evangelism
  • Preparation for Ministry
  • Practical Church Life
  • Ministry Hours

Practice

“Do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
2 Timothy 4:5b

TBBMI has a strong missions profile, and we emphasise practicing what you learn. During the 1st year you will therefore have mandatory practice 10 hours each week, in addition to a mission trip and participation in several conferences.

In the second semester the students of the Evangelist and Mission line will have a longer period of full time practice in a mission organization, church, and/or other Christian organizations. This allows the students to integrate theoretical knowledge into practical experience.

Student conversations

At TBBMI we want each student to find their running path. During the 1st year we offer several individual student talks. We believe that discipling happens in relationships, and that you can grow in your relationship with God when you have the chance to ask your personal questions, share your dreams and experiences.
